The Little Chef
This adorable cake was created for my daughter’s birthday. We designed it together, which is always so much fun! I think it turned out great…the girls at the party even fought over eating the veggies!
Because my family is gluten free and most of the guests are not, cake is always a challenge. No one wants to be left out of the fun…and, frankly, handing a kid a gluten free brownie is no substitute at a time like this. I usually try to make separate tiers so everyone can enjoy cake together. In this case I made the lid gluten free. Everyone was happy…and they even ate their vegetables!
